Anyone got a SMART car, towing eye needed for a day !

As it says in the title really.

I need to move a dead SMART roadster, and was planning to do it with a mate & a towing pole. The flaw in the plan is that the towing eye of the SMART seems to have been lost, so I either need to buy one (!) or borrow one for a couple of days....I think that all SMARTS have the same towing eyes.

A longshot, but you never know .

Got a Mercedes one you can borrow if it is the same? Same company and all that?

Thank you ... not if it's the same, it's not an item that I ever considered, until we realised this SMART doesn't have one !

I think they might only be a tenner new, if so I'll buy one !

The car should have one any way.....
