Yet another new owner

New owner threads seem to be two a penny recently, however I thought I would say hello all the same. I have been lurking here for a while before buying, and have picked up a lot of very useful information, thank you. I purchased the Aston Martin Review book and after thorough revision was ready to sit my A-level in Aston Martin.
Below is the required photo as stated in the 'rules'.
Bought at Stratstone in Cardiff, I must say the service was very good. We danced a merry dance when it came to the purchase, almost 5 weeks in fact. I am about to test their aftersales service as on the way home from Goodwood yesterday I experienced complete brake failure! The pedal has been very spongy and needs pumping to get the brakes to work.
Loving the car, done Le Mans and Goodwood already, looking forward to joining the forum.

Loving the comments from other people, always positive and very friendly. The other day I parked in-front of a lock up and the guy came out and said "nice car, can you move it down the road a bit, I'm about to jet wash my bike (a wicked looking Ducati) and I don't want to get it dirty." I moved the car and walked back and said thank you, with that an MPV pulled up with fatty and her 5 sprogs popped out. I looked at the guy as he fired up the jet wash as if to say 'aren't you going to tell her to move it' and he just strugged at me and smiled.

Ginger she is a beauty - call me boring but I think the Aston fulfils its stunning design brief in the classy sophisticated colours, rather than the latest bling that A.M. seem to be pushing.

The guide is awesome, me and Dad (engineer for 45 years) read it cover to cover. Loved reading about specific stuff like the various materials used in the cars components and makes you appricate what you are buying. I was quite pedantic about my purchase, creating a spreadsheet of vehicle price/spec's from autotrader ads to establish a market 'spot price' and determine value, which when compared with the MY/spec in the booked enabled me to attribute a value rating (deviation from the mean) to the cars in which I was interested.GingerMunky said:

I was going to buy that very car. I turned up at Stratstone an hour after you'd put down the deposit! I remember them telling me you were taking it to Le Mans.
They had another meteorite grey car in one of their partner dealerships up north, so I had that one instead.
