96 E36's "test functions"

This may only be a yanky thing but on most 96 e36's if you press the "AUTO" button and the "REAR DEFOGGER" at the same time you will get 12 read outs that you can cycle through with the fan speed + - button. This displays on the climate control LCD and can be turned off by switching the ignition off/on or pressing the 2 original buttons over again.

Then there is something about pressing the "10" and "100" buttons at the same time on the lower computer readout do-dad. Have not tried this because I don't know what exactly it does but it might have to do with "check control" readouts. Apparently, it has a list of options or read outs.

I use the extra climate functions quite often, to show battery voltage etc.

The OBC extra functions don't seem to work on mine.
