53 plate MG TF high level brake light

Mine's not working but not easy to get at any ideas?

I would check the condition of the wiring in the vicinity of the left hand boot hinge first.
The wiring is very prone the braking between the hinge and the joint with the main loom due to the flexing of the wiring when the boot is opened and closed.
