Finished work on Friday as still a few last minute things to do on the cob before we head out Thurs morning, missed 2010 due to house move, so its been 4 years since I had my last 'fix' of that small patch in France we call 'home'

Also taking my son this time to break his LM duck.

Not excited one little bit.

And pigs fly........

1932 citroen c4 racing in period 1 Im not driving it sadly, well actually not that sadly it slow and scarey, Im just keeping the drivers in check and making sure not too much falls off !!! Its a box trailer with Midland Classic Restorations on the side... I'll probably be sporting a Tuscan challenge/black cat racing Polo shirt and nursing a beer on the crossing..

That's the chap. Its a proper ph story. 4 mates go to lmc in 2010 and argue if it would be possible to do it. Somehow find a suitable car af auction then realise need licences etc. we've spent the last 18 months running them in Mgs and Instructing them on the circuit.

Should be fun

Today and tomorrow at work (ho hum but need it), pack the car Thursday morning, quick pre-flight check then drive to Pompey early afternoon. Fish and Chip supper on the windy and wet seafront and then overnight ferry early evening. Looking forward to it of course but gutted the forecast looks st, just hope my last minute gazebo arrives and rain doesn’t dampen proceedings too much...

Why is it that every time I back the car out of the garage to give it a wash and polish, it starts to rain?

Gaffer tape wink

Not an elegant solution but the only one I have at the moment. Contemplating a quick trip to Hellfrauds for a universal shower cap, just to try and ward off any overnight dampness.......
