Anyone know much about Primeras?

I'm off to look at one this afternoon. It's a P11, 51 plate.

Either a 1600 or an 1800 (someone we know is selling it on behalf of his recently deceased brother), will find out later.

It's got almost a years MOT and RFL and from what I've seen of it in the past looks to be in decent nick.

Anything I should look out for / be aware of?

Good cars, drive very well, great chassis. The 1.8 is a far better drive. Most have all the bells & whistles one would expect. Common faults from what I recall are: Worn wiper arm pivots, faulty wiper motors, faulty remote key operation & air flow meter. None are costly or difficult to repair.

Rust. I think most Nissan's suffer this quite badly. Not sure there's much else to worry about, apart from the all the usual things you'd check on a car of this age/price.
