Judd 10 Formula1 engine ??
Discussion
Al Melling does claim a connection iirc to the Judd design so there is a tenuous link but as the AJP is a different design and a V8 it's stretching it to claim it's an F1 engine.
He was involved in F1 for a period so his claims are possible . Have a look at this Wikipedia entry but I suspect it's been written by the man himself so there may be some extravagent claims in there that can't be verified due to NDAs etc

I remember Racing green telling me that some of the Speed 6 and AJP components were very closely related (copied) from a Yamaha design. Judd did take their Formula 1 engine design to Yamaha around the same time as the AJP/Speed 6 was designed in order to move Judd into the sports car market (never really took off). The fact that a similar engine with a few copied Yamaha components emerged shortly after would suggest that some of the fundamental design was carried over from this, though Judd/Yamaha had no formal input to the AJP engine as far as I'm aware. He was involved in F1 for a period so his claims are possible .
