My upcoming LMC trip has given me the necessary push to get these out....only 3 weeks after the event...whistle

The main race was on the Nordschleife, but the high-light (or should I say best-lighthehe) was the final race, the Porsche-only "Kremer Nacht der Legenden", which started at 9pm - perfect timing to coincide with a gorgeous sunset.

Full set here;

yes

Although I can't help but think if the random couple were cloned out of this, it would be fantastic:

Thanks chaps, I was definitely lucky to have another beautiful sunny day at the 'ring. Let's hope the weather picks up for LMC this weekend!

You may be right, I did ponder that one for quite some time....but in some ways I think the contrast highlights the age and 'specialness' of the car. I have another from that angle taken after they'd left, but chose to show this one and the other photo showing the side instead.

I did end up wishing I'd cloned out the X5 and people from this one though, maybe I will one day....

Oh hope you don't mind if I disagree? thumbup

For me the figures really make the shot, think it could be a little clinical / cold without them.

The long shadows creating diagonals that echo across the frame, the strong horizontal line that ties the figures and car - cracking shot smile (my pick of the set)

It's all personal preference after all smile
