Read through previous thread, so is a B.V. spec noticibly better/smoother/quicker than the 'Standard' Griff.

Other than bigger valves what other mods did the factory provide to the engine/car ?

Yep, a bit faster than a standard 4.3, but not as fast as a 500. Usually sounds great !

Attention: there are quite a few fake BV (4.3's with a BV marking on the plenum) around so check with the factory (almost impossible to see for yourself).

A different camshaft profile was used as well, converting mine to a big valve now just had the last of tvr`s s/steel big valves cannot wait till its all sorted

The story I got, from a very reputable source, was that the large valves in BVs and 500s caused a slower movement of air which contributed to low rpm lumpiness. I'd be interested if anyone could confirm this
