Any insurance co. that will accept motor trade no claims?

A friend of mine wrapped up his valeting business a few weeks ago which he had a motor trade insurance policy for. His insurance is due for renewal soon and has managed to get some good quotes but the small print on every policy says that they will not accept his motor trade policy no claims (4 years), it must be from a private car policy to count. This is meaning all his quotes are doubling and trebling because he has 0 NCB even though his own private car was insured for SDP use on the same policy.

Just wondering if any of the PH Massive had encountered this snag and whether there's any work-around?
