If it helps I went from Tufton St to Kings Cross at 5.15pm yesterday and it was £16.

Depending on route/ time in traffic. £12-£30. Mostly down to if the taxi driver is one of those who takes the main road or one who wants to get from A-B as fast as possible.

Get a minicab at a fixed fare.£15-£20.

Can you take a bus? They're a lot cheaper and, if you get the night bus, more entertaining too

Ah the many delights of the fright bus. Just don't get in conversation with anyone with wild staring style eyes but do offer out a fight against the bottom deck if you're on the top deck as a mate of mine once did!
