Hello PH! smile

This is my first Subaru & first PH Post.

I wanted to say thanks to 'Victoria VW' & Everyone who commented on the 'Thinking of getting an Impreza WRX - what to look out for' thread. I used this as my to guide to find this WRX in my local area (http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3168169.htm). Full Service History from Subaru Main Dealer, No Knocking, clean gearbox, Shocks are covered under 1 year AA warranty! Only a couple of scratches on her!

I wanted to get some advice on where to get it serviced moving forward, Does anyone know any good Subaru Specialists in the South East?

Also any advice on tuning moving forward?

Go and see Paul at Extreme Scoobies. He is excellent and straight as.

Oh, some PH spelling nazi may be along shortly to correct your WXR wink They tend to be not too prevalent in the Sccoby forum, but in the Porsche one, boy, you'll get chastised for such a mistake ... hehe

Edit

Ah, Surrey... GRD then smile

Hey, just seen this thread and my name up there! That's a nice looking car you've picked.

I went to test drive one on Saturday and am just trying to work out if I can live with the heavy clutch which I wasn't expecting.

Also getting a bit emotional about parting with the bug (VW, not bugeye smile)

Fast cars have heavy clutches, so this will remind you that you are in a fast car wink

Once you've driven your WRX wagon in anger you'll forget all about the VW bug.

TSL have changed what they do nowadays. Victim of current financial times. Unless they still have some back/old stock you might not be able to get one. They are doing just classic cars now.

Don't know where else to get a GrpN box from now. Requires some investigation i think.

Normal Prodrive/WR Sport backbox plus de-resonated centre section should give a pretty similar sound, I'd have thought.
