I didn't test the air flow through the cooler with the hump yet. (But I would like to when the Nob is ready)
I saw somewhere in the forum that anyone measured the air flow on his noble in a wind tunnel. But I can not find it anymore. Would be great to have this data to compare.
The hump is hand made and it's united with the clam. The holes were pasted up (see picture)
Why do you think it's translated wrong? If so, than correct me

its not great but it sufficient when linked to a high performance IC, better to help get the air out first, the mesh behind the IC is restrictive, also the number plate,, plus the whale tail, all helps build up pressure and turbulent air behind the IC, the ic box is not closed in on the sides behind plus its all connected to the whale tail, air from the engine bay goes round the sides and behind which stalls airflow.
its pointless putting more air in a creating drag as the main problem was always getting the air out..once you have sorted the exit and airflow then it can be looked at to get more air in, but at 70mph i measured 20mph through the IC, its still 4 times more powerful than fitting fans, and dont forget to treat any IC as equivalent of hitting a brick wall in terms of airflow, the air really slows down in order to pass through..
with fast back although the air gets smoothed and better directed to the IC, as is same with the front rad, it benefits you at lower speeds with cooling, but at higher speeds you do not want too much air going in..
its a balancing act, i think people concentrate too much on forcing more air in, rather than improving airflow and reducing drag at the same time.

I'm with Chris on this one, I have often thought that extending the rear of the IC box through the rear of the car into the low pressure area would solve the problem, aesthetics however are going to get in the way.
Maybe some sort of ducting routed down and through an extended race type diffuser may be the way forward?
Would be a challenge with the exhaust in the way.

even just removing those barriers that separate the engine compartment from the low pressure area behind the car and designing an IC which allows air to pass through easier will all help achieve a better flow..
i saw anothe vid where it showed air going into the IC without fastback, this one seems to just be demonstrating airflow with regards to downforce..but it is with fastback, i assume this is pauls car.

nice pics btw..i looked at the fuull album on facebook..
