IPhone 4s Connection 2012 911gts

I have just taken delivery of the above car, I was told by my supplying dealer that all I needed to connect my iPhone 4s to the car was the white lead that came with the iPhone, plugged into the usb socket, I have tried it but have had no sucess, any suggestions?

My guess is that the lead is faulty, and you should ask the dealer to replace. It's what happened on my GTS.

My GTS was supplied with a special lead that plugs into the i-phone at one end and into two sockets at the other. Sounds like you need to go back to the supplying dealer and ask for the lead. Paul

Yep. Wrong lead. The correct one is Y shaped.

That's the lead mine came with but a pin was broken at one end which stopped it working. Seems like a very fragile design.

Fobbed off, they must have lost the lead!

Yes you will need to get hold of the lead pictured above - the standard iphone cable will not work.

Supplying dealer should give you the lead foc, I got it with my GTS and didn't have to pay, it was already in the car on collection.
