TD5 Discovery sluggish and flat performance
Discussion
I have recently got a 2001 TD5 Discovery, and I was taking it up to my mates last night to carry out some repairs for its not on Friday, as it was only the 2nd time I have driven it I wasn't aware of how flat it was until I got further into the journey
Basically it seems flat and has absolutely zero guts above 60mph, I got 75mph out of it and it felt as if it was limited, it would do nothing more, getting to 75mph wasn't the easiest either,
I cleaned out the map sensor as it was grubby from EGR deposits, I unplugged the injector loom under the rocker cover and there's some traces of oil so I will be replacing that, the actuator was too hot to investigate so I will look into that tonight, fuel filter is leaking ever so slightly at the housing so I'll do that tonight, but does anyone have any other ideas what may be causing the issues?
Unplugging the MAF made a slight difference but it was still flat above 60mph
Fuel pump I can hear with ignition on
