Brands Hatch Novice Evening - 3rd July
Discussion
Hi Moko
I was there last night as well. Myself and a colleague did the whole evening even though we did feel a little left out not driving a Mini!
Have a look on http://www.clubmsvphotography.com/ the photos are up there.

Recommend instruction in your car, will def do that next time. The RCZs were a bit weedy, but I learnt a lot about the driving line even when it felt completely wrong and I wanted to follow the other cars.
I seemed to get passed a lot though, probably much more to do with my lack of talent than the weedy cars.

Was there too for my 2nd ever track day, great fun, luckily the weather held out for us too
I was in one of the MINI's, we put a thread up on our forum about the evening & quite a few guys wanted to go.
A real mix of cars there, CLS Merc/M6/Z4, thouroughly enjoyed the evening, well done to all
One of my mate's had his camera too

Was this yours Poko?

Nope, that's not mine - Although I do recall seeing a PH sticker on the back of it! Mine was a mk2 (That's mk1!)
Mine was: http://www.theimagefile.com/?skin=1962707402&A...
I felt like 20 minutes wouldn't of been long enough to get out of any instruction. Next time I'll do an hour or so; that way I can learn the track -> have instruction -> use said instruction.

Was my first full evening after having done a couple of taster sessions in the past. Was great fun really enjoyed it and I'm glad the weather was mostly dry. Had my dad out for the first time too which was good although he was getting a bit overcome by it all trying to remember everything.Think I may need to invest in some boosted power soon though to keep up on the straights!
You don't happen to have anymore pics do you?

I captured my first session about mid-way through the evening. Track seemed a bit greasy through Paddock and Druids, seemed to be a spillage of some sort through the corner, possibly from the single seaters earlier in the day... ?
