Was anyone at this last night? Spotted a couple PH stickers flying around!
Was mine (and my OH's) 1st track day and the 20 minute taster session flew by!

If anyone was there; did anyone get any pictures of a green mk2 MX5 (Or Twingo RS) with black wheels? biggrin

Just posted a similar thread!
I was there, but as it was my first track day I didn't have the guts to take my Monaro out so went with the RCZs and glad I did as the instruction was good.
Saw a couple of green mk2 5s there, which one was yours?

wink

Mine had black wheels and a roll bar, the other one I spotted didn't!
Found it very fun, and will have to get instruction next time - My braking / lines etc were all over the place!

Hi Moko

I was there last night as well. Myself and a colleague did the whole evening even though we did feel a little left out not driving a Mini!

Have a look on http://www.clubmsvphotography.com/ the photos are up there.

Recommend instruction in your car, will def do that next time. The RCZs were a bit weedy, but I learnt a lot about the driving line even when it felt completely wrong and I wanted to follow the other cars.
I seemed to get passed a lot though, probably much more to do with my lack of talent than the weedy cars.

Awesome - will look into buying a couple of those! wink

Nope, that's not mine - Although I do recall seeing a PH sticker on the back of it! Mine was a mk2 (That's mk1!)
Mine was: http://www.theimagefile.com/?skin=1962707402&A...

I felt like 20 minutes wouldn't of been long enough to get out of any instruction. Next time I'll do an hour or so; that way I can learn the track -> have instruction -> use said instruction.

Ah, ok, not up on my Mazda's wink

I did the whole evening, thought it was good value at £99, lots of track time to learn the circuit & even have a play with coilover settings smile

That's mine smile Was my first full evening after having done a couple of taster sessions in the past. Was great fun really enjoyed it and I'm glad the weather was mostly dry. Had my dad out for the first time too which was good although he was getting a bit overcome by it all trying to remember everything.

Think I may need to invest in some boosted power soon though to keep up on the straights!

You don't happen to have anymore pics do you?

Only just seen this thread, I was there in the blue lotus, a really good evening with great track manners from all involved. I'm looking at doing another one on the 1st August, anyone else fancy it.

I captured my first session about mid-way through the evening. Track seemed a bit greasy through Paddock and Druids, seemed to be a spillage of some sort through the corner, possibly from the single seaters earlier in the day... ?
