After some bad news yesterday, and after 18 months wait, my new baby has arrived and its great.

Now I can look at it all day before jumping in the real thing. Yay !!

Holiday was fantastic thanks, however in a rush to get to work Monday I fell down stairs....again no booze involved. I have damaged my recently repaired shoulder so have sadly had to cancel Wales.

Very nice... Is that the 1:18th scale version that costs c£120?

Ive got my eye on a 1:24th scale model V12V in Morning Frost (by MotorMax) but I'll have to ship from the US... That said cost is only around £25.

Glad to hear about the holiday and sorry to hear about the shoulder, that is a real crapper. I am a bit up in the air on Wales due to my elusive house move........ I really want to be there, but as feared I am not moving on Monday and it could now be next weekend..... bugger.

Ok to answer queries. It is AutoArt, it is the 1:18 scale, I ordered from GT Models and it cost £114.

Oh and Ice, I dont know if you ordered direct but I believe GT were saying 'Out of Stock' for the red and black so nows the time to chase your order.

I'd rather go for the AutoArt personally. As Brakedwell says, they're like a work of art, very well made, worth the extra money imo.

One day I want to get an Amaglam 1:8 scale model Aston in a matching colour scheme to mine, they're about £4k, but the detail is frankly amazing (as you should expect it for that price). I saw them in the Schmidt Marketing store in KL and they were just fantastic, was so tempted to buy one of them!

I totally get why you'd want one sat on your desk, and your v12v Di looks brilliant. That being said, only a mug would chuck £4k at a model car IMHO!
