TVR Chimaera to what ?????
Discussion
After almost a year and 3000 trouble free miles starting to get itchy feet and thinking about a move from the Chimaera.
Question is to what at moment a Cerb is pretty much in my mind but would like to draw up a shortlist and so some research (part of the fun about buying a car for me)
So over to the PHers what should I consider ?
Apart from the Cerebra I have always had a notion for an XKR and of the cars I have had enjoyed the 350z

What sort of budget have you got to play with?
Personally I wouldn't go for an XKR. They're consummate tourers and they are properly quick, but they lack the involvement of a proper sports car.
Another TVR sounds like a good choice. Personally I'd be tempted by a Tamora or T350 if I had the funds (and the contingency budget for a Speed Six) but a Cerb sounds good too. If you wanted to economise you might be surprised how good the S-Series can be and you'd have a big chunk of cash left over.
At the other end of the scale, I presume something like a Caterham would be a bit too raw? Unlike most TVRs, Sevens aren't natural tourers, but for an hour long Sunday afternoon blast they're hard to beat.

I usually try and limit my self to about 12k at most for the 2nd car so some of the options are out for moment Personally I wouldn't go for an XKR. They're consummate tourers and they are properly quick, but they lack the involvement of a proper sports car.

Oh, if it's not a 5l Chimaera, then go for that?
Personally think the 450 is pick of bunch
and think I would be mad to move to an other Chim after getting this one well sorted http://mytvrchimaera.blogspot.com/
