I did use to wonder how much of it was the car, but I genuinely think he is - to use a motoGP term - the GOAT when it comes to Rallying. I suspect his influence will change the style of rally driving forever.

He is very good! Interesting to see him head to head with other drivers, instead of the usual time attacks of WRC.

He has been very succesful in quite a lot of circuit racing in the last few years.

I'd like to see him in a classic Escort or something for a real comparison - his driving style is particularly well suited to modern WRC cars (and the rallycross cars use very similar drivetrain/suspension AFAIK just with more power) but have we ever seen him rallying anything else?
