Need a new Project

Morning guys,
I was after a bit of advice, i've completed my quad copter build (posted somewhere on here), and i need a new project, i'm thinking this time i want to build an RC car, (from a kit), i find i have more pride over it rather than one bought ready to race.
I've had in the past an old Kyosho electric offcoard buggy, and a 1/10 Nitro buggy. Both were ready to race.
Now.... The question is.. Whats the best way to go , Do i go Nitro/Electric,hmmmmm.
I liked the looks of the Lunchbox, old school classic etc. But the lunchbox is a bit slow for my liking...
Anyone got any recomendations??
