SURFACE FINISH ON DASHBOARD

Any ideas on how to restore surface damage to a dashboard, seems to have just taken away the thin top surface measuring approx 7cm by 1.5cm. Honda want £1K to fit a new dashboard!

Would be worth speaking to a SMART repairer... they can replicate various surface finishes.
