M6 Insurance recommendations

Just lost 5 years NCB due to the theft of my wheels last year (£6.5k replacement) so expecting a raping from Flux.

Cheapest i've found so far is £1200 from Admiral of all places.

Where else should i try and who do you recommend ?

Where do you live?

we are new to the UK having moved from Australia and just paid 1150 with Flux on an 07 M5 with an international drivers license and only 6 years NCB which they honoured from Australia. We live in Aberdeen so unless you live in a high risk area l would have thought you could do a lot better than that.

Can you live with limited mileage? If so, might be worth calling round some of the better classic car insurers to see whether they can put something together for you.

(ETA: not that I'm suggesting it could be considered a classic, rather that they seem willing to call underwriters and try to do a deal, rather than just a "computer says £xyz" approach).

What does the Meerkat say? Is that where the Admiral quote came from?

It's not usual to lose so much NCB for one claim. I'd check that.

Could live with Limited mileage so will give the Classics a go.
Waiting to find out how much NCB i have lost.
Admiral quote was direct - Meerkat's admiral quote was £200 higher (both with 0 NCB)

Renewal came through and after a bkit of haggling got it down to £919.73 - Result
