Euro Trip Cover

I have AA membership with home start, relay and breakdown repair cover and I have just enquired about Euro cover in France for a week in August.
Have been quoted £50.48 for attendance, relay and accommodation etc or £80.76 with parts up to £500 being included.
I must say that I thought that was a lot cheaper than expected but then the sting...... this is only for one incident!!
Now I hope that I don't need them at all but if it breaks down once what are the chances of it breaking down again as apparently you have to pay for a second attendance. You know Murphy's law and all that.
Is this the same with all Euro cover. I have looked at the ADAC website but mostly it's in German and seems like you have to join on line with no phone numbers.
AA did offer multi trip at £121.45 and £173.63 respectively for annual membership with a maximum of 3 incidents per year.
Anyone know different.
