Looking to try and find something to surprise my dad with at the grand Prix on Sunday. He's coughed up for grandstand tickets and thought I could say thanks by surprising him with something...Just dont know what!

Looked into a helicopter flight but they're not running them on Sunday. Saturday and Sunday they're £49 each which I thought was good.

Not looking to be over the top in price, but any suggestions as I've never been before and don't know what sort if things are there!?

Cheers, Mark

They do indeed know how to charge!

Helicopter flight would have been perfect, but other than that I don't really know! Paddock package would be great, but not at £2500!!!!!

Helicopter flight for £49? WHERE??

Once you enter Silverstone it's expensive. Bring your own lunch and treat him to Dinner on the way home.

At the MotoGP it was £45 and they flew from a field next to the bottom of the Hangar Straight. It was a Jetranger and an R44. Loads of availability on the day but obviously they'll be double the number of people at the F1.

The flight really was only five minutes and went away from the circuit though. I think you'd still get a good view down Stowe and Abbey to the new pit complex.

Oh, pleasure flights. Thought you meant flights into Silverstone from elsewhere.

You could email the McLaren team, and see if they need any help with Lewis' pitstops, I'm sure they could give him a quick crash course and he'd be up to standard!

You could just pay for his parking on the day it's about the same price as a heli flight rolleyes
Or buy him some waterproofs he will need those.
Or hire a 4x4 for the day so that he can get off the muddy field car park.
