.........not that i'd have a clue who's behind me!! the wing mirrors are shockingly bad

so what i need is a rear view mirror, another one of those "not supplied with kit" items i am lacking!! any idea on where to get a replacement or where the original one came from?

Any rear view mirror will do really, just get special glue for glueing it to your windshield and it should be ok. you can even get a small emergency rear view mirror at automotive places for like a tenner with a rubber sucker thing.

There even used to be 'mirror pads' for stick on mirrors, don't know if they are still around
(they were double sided sticky pads) Hell, I reckon even the 'command strips' from those hooks would probably work...you can get just the pads in DIY shops here...)

I reckon mine is a Ford Cortina one, it has a 'dip' setting.

I reckon a lot of newer car mirrors would work.
