Said goodbye to the cerbie yesterday...

He went to David Geralds for service and won't be coming back. Mrs DC and I have to move house and need to raise some capital so he had to go and DG's offered me a very fair price to take him back.

Here's hoping the new owners care for the car as much as the the first owner and I did...

Anyway, here's a pic of the old beastie by way of a last hurrah!

Thanks for all the appreciative comments you've paid to the car while I've had it and for all the help and advice you guys have given when I've asked...

And Barry, if you read this it's only a matter of time until the temptation gets too great again!

Cheers

Yup, I'd kind of resigned myself to it by then...

I'll still be coming to the meets, unfortunately in the Rover until I sort out a replacment toy. I have a special pass from Marcus that allows RX7's into the car park!

All the best

Sorry to see you sell it DC.

Just had two stunning days out in mine - she's staying with me.

Well...if it had to go, it went for one of the best reasons.......

House moves are damned expensive, but recoverable......perhaps in a couple of years you will be looking again!

Hope so......

Hi Russell,

yep it looked superb (in linerite blue). I hadn't seen any other in that particular shade though I'm sure they must be out there...

All the best

Hi Pauline,

Very much hope to be back in one at some point but as you say house moves can prove on the expensive side so the beastie had to go.

Not an easy decision though I can tell but one that had to be made...
