XKR water leak

Hi,

I've just noticed that I've got a water leak on my 2008 XKR. It's located fairly central and quite far back, probably behind the start of the windscreen. I can't get under it at the moment to see exactly where it's coming from and can't see bugger all in the engine bay .

Any ideas?

Not wishing Granny to suck eggs, but are you sure it's not just the a/con?

Can you tell whether it is antifreeze or water?

It COULD be the hose under the supercharger

Could be the condensation from the air/con, called the AA out last week as my wife's VXR Astra was dripping in the garage.

AA man said this is responsible for a lot of "false" call outs.

Best be sure though, it could be a split hose which could have catastrophic results......

Thanks. My initial thought was condensation but then I got worried about the volume - it was a steady drip, drip. Then again it was pure water - no smell, colour, oily feel etc. so I guess I was worrying about nothing - it was pretty humid yesterday.
