Interesting. Nice to see if some cheap bits become available but don't remember the last time I needed the factory to supply.

Cheers for the heads up.

Heads up for the Wedge Archivist I think (hope). Maybe not in his defined role, but possibly the best-placed person to get involved? ... Richard

it was in the S forum.

What gets me, is it sounds like you have to buy everything now, needed or not. Hopefull, someone with a stack of moolah may by the lot, and sell it on as and when it is needed. Or I'm just confused.

Anybody interested in a business venture?? Pool our resources and buy the Wedge spares. Those in the pool get them at cost when they need them, others pay a premium.

Can't see how this may affect the Wedge massive. I'd be more concerned if I had a Chimp or Griff though.

I would suspect that these assets have been/will be written off. This usually means they would be sold for 10% of their original value.

I would have thought that one of the wedge specialists would buy the lot?? I'm sorrry but Mr wheeler has really 'sold out'.so much for the proud independantly british attitude! they don't seem to care about the older models either.

It's all a matter of cost. Who in their right mind will tie up an awfully large sum of money, to only get it back in dribs and drabs. If it happens, it will just lead to inflated prices. On the other hand if anyone wants to aquire them, pay for a warehouse to keep them in etc, it could be a nice retirement job for me...

I'll man the phone - just provide free booze, dancing girls, and internet.
