Hi folks! Remember me?

Well just over a year without a wedge and I'm back.

Yesterday I bought Wedgets 280i as advertised in the PH classifieds (thumbs up to a very nice bloke if he's reading this. ).

This time I've kept my Jag and intend to use the wedge as a summer fun car.

My only regret is letting my wedge bible go with my 400SE when I sold it last year

I MISS MY WEDGE, Now i have a wedge of a different type, The type you put in your pocket. I am saving like mad and hoping to get a Griff next year but only as a second car. I do not recomend TVRs as an only mode of transport. You get far more pleasure from driving occasionally and not just to nip down the shops for sugar. Bob you have a very good car and i am happy it has gone to a good home far away. Hope you sort the steering rack soon though...

Why not???? I use mine all the time. (Except when I leave the house before 6:00 am) Reliable, economic, great fun. No matter what kind of mood I'm in, it always improves after a few miles. I think they should be put on the NHS prescription list for anyone with stress or depression.

Well I agree it is easily possible to live with one every day.

I used my cars everyday for eight years, however over the last couple of years my outlook has changed and I really think there are some journeys best left to other cars.

Surely on a cold and dismal winters morning, given the option of heated seats, effective windscreen wipers being able to hear the radio and ABS, everyone would take the soft option.

Admittedly my soft option is a 6 litre XJR-S so I still get that special feeling.

Yes. I know what you mean . . . but it does take a lot to get me out of the Wedge and into something else.
