Thornes Park Car Show 2012

Today is supposedly the Thornes Car Show in Wakefield, I have went the past 5 or so years and it has always been great weather, but as today has been extremely horrible weather I was wondering if it's still on or not. I plan to get there for about 5PM

It's on the first Friday of July each year, surprised you didn't know about tho' coz it gets more popular every year. And it's quite annoying there never seems to be any information about it :/

That's a shame, I was really looking forward to going, hopefully it will be rearranged otherwise I'll have to just wait for next year. And there wasn't really much news about it, but there was an advertisement in Wakey city center near Ridings .

I'm told it starts at 4pm. But turn up when it suits, I can't make 4 so I'll go when I can...

Yep, I got there for about 5 and left at 7. It was a fantastic show with a great turnout as per usual, although this year not as many cars. I was shocked to see the Ford GT there, for me that was the best car, also the Ferrari 360 Spider and TVR T350C, plus 2 Tamora's. Also some nice suprises like 3x Z3M's, Alpina 3.3B, DB7 Vantage, 2 of those multi-coloured 944's and a load more
