I'd recommend the park & ride. Besides, if you haven't already got a parking ticket (separate from the general admission ticket) you're probably SOL as I believe they're already sold out anyway.

Thanks for that - i had found that website, but either i am a complete idiot or there is no where to actually book it?

No online booking or telephone booking now you left it too late unfortunately. You have to take your chances. I believe they're well covered with the P&R but get there early just in case! Best of luck!

When I got dropped off last year, we drove up the Dadford Road as far as we could, dropped me off, then did a u-turn and went back to Buckingham

Ok thank you - it looks like tomorrow is out, no parking and not sure it is worth chnacing it. Heard Silverstone was gridlocked today as they haven't allowed parking on grassed areas as it is so sodden.

What time would people recommend getting to silverstone? Assuming i can make it to the village and walk from there - helicopter option sounds good!!! If only ...

You can park at Turweston Aerodrome and they take you across the farms direct to the circuit, phone number is 01280 705400.

Go bloody early and take a 4x4 of some type if you can. Looks a right sodding mess on the fields already and it'll only get worse. Record breaking crowds all weekend i think.
