TVR's going to France, Dordogne

Any of you guys going to France, more specific the Dordogne area, this Summer?
If you are drop by if you like, I'm near Souillac. We can take the Tiv's for some excellent driving in this area!

Hi Gerjo.
We have had our Tuscan for 4 months and have discussed taking it to France next summer. This would be a big step for us as we have never driven abroad. We would be grateful for any advice on places to go, routes and accomodation etc.

We are coming over for 6 days! Alas I doubt we will get further south than the Loire, although we love the Dordogne I think its a littl far for just 6 days and no intention of any motorways.

So if anyone is around Blois around the august bank holiday monday look our for the yellow tamora!

I love france and I love the roads, so smooth!

Hazel and I have driven around a large proportion of france and tried every method of getting there! We are settled on Eurotunnel now as we find the crossings quite boring! Plus your car remains in the state that you loaded it in (unlike the ferries). My advice would be to head southwest to the Dordogne and Gordes du Tarn areas. This is some of the best scenary you will find with great roads. As for driving I prefer it personally and the way I remember to stay right is just think pavement alongside me! Dont be fooled by the shear size of the country, twice the landmass of the UK, same population and infinately more spent on roads, railways etc....! One thing is certain though the food is 100% better!

Hi Gerjo, I'm at the opposite side of France, at the Alpes. But as I'm trying to have a TVR here in France from quite a time, I'm interested in knowing if you have any profitable experience to share with me about the importation requirements in France (nobody is able to give a reliable information).

Didn't import the Griff. As I still have an address in Holland, I'm keeping it on Dutch plates.
The French TVRCC knows how to import a TVR, Chris (former chairman) mailed me about it once, but I lost his mail. Currently I'm trying to contact the club but that proves rather difficult.
