Not long sold my Boxster 986 S and im looking to get an early 997 , in the real world of busy roads and speed limits, would i notice the differance between the two models there are some base models with PASM is this worth having .
also do the wing mirrors on the 997 fold in like the 996 do , (tight fit in the garage). cheers

Mirrors can be folded manually, but as an owner of a 997.1 C4S with a standard 70's garage (i.e. narrow) I don't understand how this will help. Mine goes into the garage without folding, and I'm struggling to understand how you will actually get out of the car if it's so narrow you have to fold the mirrors!? Buy a cab?

The garage opens out once you get in past the frame , .might be tempted by a Boxster RS60 failing that will have to be a coupe.

I have a 997 3.6 with PASM - the PASM is worth seeking out IMO.

The S cars are quicker, but the 3.6 is still rapid.
