HELP I would be grateful for any suggestions to help solve my problem. Brief story so far. It started last summer one afternoon motoring along nicely, S2 running well, then for no reason she lost power missfireing badly just about moving. Got the car off the road switched off, after a few seconds I started the engine and it ran perfectly and has continued to do so until last evening. Car running well, then for no apparent reason it happened again missfireing, backfireing and loss of power. Stopped the car switched off after a few seconds started again ran perfectly. Been out to the car this evening started and runs perfectly. How ever there does seem to be quite a lag when the throttle is opened quickly and a little hesitation, I dont know if this is a related problem. This to my mind is the worst type, one when you do not know when it will happen again and you are waiting for it every time you drive the car.
PS Anyone going to Silverstone Classic.

No ideas on your problem I'm afraid, but hope to be at the Silverstone Classic.

Not in a TVR though, I like to take my bike so I can have a good pedal around the whole circuit so will be in the "daily drive"

There have been quite a few posts about ignition module problems in recent months. Here’s one of them.

Could this be the problem?

Check the yellow connecter first though.

There is also I believe a multi connector on the drivers side rocker cover could be worth getting hold of a star tester to do the wiggle test.
