Indies in London? 6yr service on vantage

Coming up to the 6 yr service on my vantage (always amusing when the dealer calls it the 60k service when it has done under half of that!)

Although it has a full Aston history up until now I was tempted to go to rick in derby for this one. Clearly that is not possible. Having been quoted c. £1300 for an official service + new brake pads etc, I am tempted to go elsewhere. Given age of car, the marginal value of full service history is outweighed by the cash tax of the dealer network stamp I feel...

Can anyone recommend a good Indy in London? Has anyone used Nicholas mee?? Any thoughts?

I can wholeheartedly recommend Andrew at Nicholas Mee. Very competent mechanic, vast knowledge of Aston's and obsessive on quality.

The thee most obvious options that come to mind are:

- Nicholas Mee - South Kensington (which you already know about)
- Trinity Engineering - Located near the junction of the A3 and M25. (Tim also happens to be local Area Rep for AMOC)
- Chiltern Aston - Slight further out, near Hemel Hempstead

All three seem to get great comments and recommendations from past customers.

I used PSR Automotive in Bishops Stortford for my last service and couldn't fault them.
