S Type dash replacment

Hi,

Has anyone ever replaced the wooden dash on an S-type with the aluminium?

Wondering how difficult it is and the approximate cost?

There is someone selling a set of aluminium s-type R inserts in jaguarforums.co.uk, I believe he wants £100;

However I am not a big fan myself. 'Aluminium' sounds cool, but to me they dont look particularly fancy or expensive. I am thinking about buying some wooden ones cheap, and applying a carbon fibre sheet over them. So if you buy the ones above - I'll buy your old wood off you!
