Blonde moment help required

Hi Guys/Gals,
Need some help as having total blonde moment (apologies to any blondes present).

Giving the car a bit of a fettle plugs etc and noticed a pipe hanging free under the plenum which comes off the end of the fuel rail.

Now for the life of me I cannot recall having unplugged it at any point nor do I remember having seen it before, so should it be connected somewhere or is it just a breather ??

No thats the bigger pipe im holding back with my thumb.

Actually looking again it is the regulator

So where should it go to?

Its as Haircutmike says it goes from the fuel regulator to the stepper motor. Look carefully on the back of the plenum under the stepper and you will see where it goes.
