Thought some of you might be interested in this:
As standard, the speedo in my Griff was hopeless. I didn't realise how useless until I attempted to calibrate it!

The red line is the original speedo reading. The blue line is my new microcontroller based speedo. One is significantly more linear than the other, and suffers from less offset.
