The 3rd Sunday of the month approaches, so it must be the Mid Beds TVR meet!
Start midday Sunday 15th August at the Red Lion Lodge/Ruen Thai Restaurant, at Deadman's Cross on the A600 between Shefford and Bedford.
There is a big car park and Thai food available if required.
Good beer, good food, good day out!

PS, welcome...

None so far. We never know until the day. Last month we had about 10, about the same the month before. Worst was 2, but it was pissing down all day!
I will be there in my Wedge anyway. It's the only way I get a Sunday lunch...

Unfortunately i wont be able to make this one - i am TVRless this weekend, and so the other half has taken the opportunity to get me to do some work around the house.

I'm afraid you picked an F1 GP weekend ....so I won't be there either.

Hope you have a good meet anyway

F1? F1? So you would forgo the monthly jolly banter for F1? I think we all know the winner already don't we boys and girls?
Even worse news. Next months meet clashes with my dear old mum's 80th birthday, so I won't be able to make it.
I hereby deputise Condomperson to be spokesperson and general liaison dogsbody.

Hoping to go to Henlow (fish place) today, so if we pass around that time we'll pop in and say hi, but wont be stopping for food.

I'm not too sure what I'm doing the 3rd Sunday in September as it's the last day of my holidays ...but have checked there's no F1 race then
...though for special reasons (like your mum's 80th b.day) can't you change the date to something that is more convenient for you?

Yes, I could have, but you know what would happen, there would be people still arriving on the 3rd Sunday and bitching that no one had told them it had changed. So best to leave it as is. I will be there in spirit.

I know a lot of cars come off the road at the end of September when their 6 months tax runs out, but how about having it as a car orientated social meet through the winter? Thoughts please.

That's a good idea
You could always rename it as a Mid Beds PH meet for the winter months
