Well well not a single thread about how the racing is going! B

Does that mean all the PH are there or it's crap racing and noone gives a toss??

I'd say it's the fact noone can view it anywhere. Nothing on sky sports at all all weekends for the classic. Such a shame.

I really wanted to go this year. Tickets were reasonably priced too, and the package seemed a good deal. Couldn't find a co-pilot in time so left it frown

Shame there isn't any coverage, thought ITV4 may have covered some of it as they sometimes do with Goodwood FOS. I don't have Motors TV but don't they usually cover Le Mans 24h? They might do a bit on it.

Have a look in the 'Le Mans' section under 'Events' where you'll find a discussion about the dire TV coverage from MotorsTV.

I was just about to mention the poor coverage on MotorsTV.

Motors TV coverage is beyond a joke. Clueless presenters (I realise Alain De Cadenet knows his cars) with no structure to the programme and crap production. Makes me angry when people get airtime when they clearly have not the slightest clue what they are talking about. The girls on the show are borderline attractive but that goes no way to making up for the fact they are morons.

I would give my right arm to cover an event like this and these muppets get the gig!

Sorry, it's touched a nerve with me..

Sorry to be picky… but the show on Motors did not actually cover any of the race. It was Alain De Cadenet sat there with the bird with the teeth talking drivel to random drivers. Interspersed with cutting to the other bird who often was trying to interview guys who were clearly busy trying to change an engine etc before they were due out.

I had recorded the 3 shows and towards the end was fast forwarding the “studio” parts trying to watch some cars going round the track, gave up half way through the last show. As said above I do like Alain De C as a rule, but boy this was like watching paint dry.

On the plus side I am going to go back for the 2014 race so will miss the show next time round.

That's not being picky, you're saying what everyone else who has sat through MotorsTV coverage has said on this forum and others. I didn't think MotorsTV could do a worse job than they did two years ago but they did. Thankfully I too will be there in 2014 - plans already being made!
