Who's going? biggrin The old series III has just passed her MOT and we're getting her ready for the annual long commute!

I shall be there with the CSK on a stand. I hope it's not as wet, not going to be fun in a tent if it is!

I must admit, I haven't missed one in a long while. Last years weather was a mix of pouring rain and glorious sunshine!

A bit of rain should certainally make the off road course and lakes a bit more interesting

I shall be going with the OH. It will be our first LR show in my my first Landy. See seperate thread. I shall be giving her an oil service and trying to sort the vacume pipe on the brakes before we brave the 60 mile journey north!

I'm going.
Just waiting for my mate to see if it will be Friday or Saturday.

I bumped into a couple of guys at the Le Mans Classic who I said I'd find on stands and say hello, and I've a few bits I want.

I just hope the weather is better than last year when I got drowned.

Excellent news! My old man is currently doing the rear brakes ready for the annual road trip in the old girl.

Keep an eye out for us (this photo was taken a few years ago, we're not brave enough to do it again) hehe

I'm gutted about this. The OH had taken time off work to come with me for the July date.

Looks like I will be going on my own on the Friday now frown

If I decide to brave the off road coarse, I'm hoping to blag a marshall to show me round!

I'm glad you mentioned this as I would have still been going up in 2weeks! Gives a little more breathing space to get the LR sorted now. Will have to see if I can shift my dates in work also.

Oh hell, thats kakked on my plans because I'll be on holiday in Spain.

Thanks for the heads-up though M3Charlie or I'd have been at the gate with Lund wondering where everyone else is!

Has anyone camped at this before? Presumably it's a pretty typical event type camping? Billing always gets pretty shocking reviews for its camping which puts me off!

Taking the old man to this. Worked out well that it is his birthday this weekend.

Just back, fantastic weather but mixed feelings about the show. Plenty of missing trade stands and it was fairly quiet for Billing, but good to see some familiar faces although I think we were camping amongst the st. Our neighbour was obviously pregnant, was drinking all day and smoking all day too & had a terrible cough that kept me awake for the first night. Second night there was a fight outside the tent at half 2 in the morning; too many larger louts and not enough brain cells. It took a 73yr old to tell them off, security seemed to take forever... I don't think many people were actually interested in Land Rovers at all, just an excuse for a pissup. Couldn't believe my ears most of the time, parents f'ing and blinding infront of their kids/toddlers.

However, there were also plenty of decent, friendly people who had a genuine interest in LR's and just wanted to chat all day! Plenty of photos and some videos of the mud run. Will post them here for you to have a look once I have uploaded them. Gutted that Devon4x4 & Twisted performance weren't there. Also, no tyre fitting companies & for some odd reason, no Bowler Wildcats.

ETA: Almost forgot, stumbled into the PT Cruiser club! What a cracking bunch they were! I even had a shot of sambuca from the back of a 'cocktail bar' in the boot biggrin
