Headlining cleaning?

Evenin' all.
Knowing there was going to be zero chance of any a top-down action on the way up to Silverstone this morning, I took my wind deflector out before I left. Whilst the roof was still on.
Error.
By virtue of its sole purpose in life (namely, to deflect wind), I now know said accoutrement tends to get somewhat grubby as it travels at varying speeds through varying levels of air quality.
The combination of the above has resulted in a rather unsightly black mark across my lovely light grey headlining.
Not sure whether it's alcantara or suede, or a synthetic material to look and feel like these, but it seems like quite a high maintenance and non idiot-proof material.
Anybody have any tips how (and with what) to clean it, before I bugger it up?

Didn't know you went to Silverstone today Adam - My car looks similar, still, despite nearly getting stuck half way up an incline on the way out of the car park, at least I didn't need a tractor to pull me out. I knew I shouldn't have followed all those Range Rovers and Cayennes taking a short cut across the field in my DB9.

Fancy stopping off at that place near Wembley next Saturday, before heading out for the Borders run, to de-Silverstone the cars?
This might be too late, but I have had remarkable success with Tesco own brand aerosol upholstery cleaner on my roof lining - recommended to me by a pal of mine. Since then, I recommended it to a detailer and he bought 48 cans of the stuff! It might be worth a punt or a couple of quid!
I use that then wipe off with a white microfiber cloth - no problems with watermarks compared to the autoglym which I used in the past!

Definitely keen to go de-silverstone the cars on Saturday morning before heading to Wales thou! Will be in touch.
