Do they make a difference on the Vantage?

I understand only the front is available. I am in two minds on whether they will spoil the lines. My v12v is hammerhead grey. Does anyone have a good picture that might help me decide?

They help prevent the rear arches getting gravel rash.

And you can barely see them. I suspect on something with fat sills you'd see them less.

I have them on my Lightning Silver S they are very subtle and work well
I also have Ventue Shield on the sill and further up the rear arch

Unless done to whole panels, protection films look worse to my fussy eyes. Even the OEM piece annoys me.

I specced mine with out from the factory & had a 3M full Venture Shield kit fitted, you would be hard pushed to spot it unless you get really close.

Mikey did you have the whole bonnet covered or just the front. Does it look a bit orange peeley under sunlight?

Whole bonnet - under close scrutiny you can see the difference but I have not had it polished yet.

if you get it applied after paint correction, somewhere good, you wont hardly tell

+1 mine has done 4.2 k miles now and I only have 3 chips (all where the film does not cover )

Not entirely true matey - there is a 5mm shortfall on each of the 2 corners closest to the windscreen

I was told the latest film can be had in sufficient width to avoid this...

Still haven't had it done though Isn't a full covering of this stuff a 2k+ proposition

He's miss leading you
It's not 5mm down the edge
You can JUST see the edge of the film in the top corners of the bonnet below the screen
V12V full kit & full bonnet was £800 fitted.
