Price seems high for a 14 yr old Rover engined car. Any kit is only as good as
the way it's been put together, and, in the case of a 14 yr old one, how it's been treated in the intervening 14 years.

My mate has the cheaper ford based one for sale.

He bought it from someone who'd started but couldn't finish, he stripped it and started again.

It's done now, and for sale, 2.8 litre V6 lump ....... I think he was asking about 14K for it, if you're interested, I'll get the full details.

He's a motor mechanic, and kit car nut, so the finish and workmanship is very good.

If you want a Cobra then it HAS to be a V8. Preferably Ford, then Chevy and perhaps a Rover (Unless it is a 289 then a Chevy doesn't work).

Clivew is spot on.

Whatever you do don't buy a Cobra replica with a V6 Ford boat anchor. Can't believe why someone would have built one with that engine. No cheaper than a v8 and practically Unsaleable , at least, for anything more than 7 - 8 k.

I'm not a fan of copies, but that does look quite nice. Pity about the fake badging. It isn't an AC, so why put AC badges on it?
