A few shots of what Paul did to my car. After seeing his work on the M400 and the X5 I can only but recommend him. A real petrol head and Noble fan to boot. Remember this is 7 year old paint and the car has never been garaged.....

You can get a kit for less than £200 that will take out all the defects your likely to have.
I spent over £500 getting my Z4M detailed some years back, a few nights on Detailingworld and a scrap panel and your set and I'll never pay someone else to do it (unless you dont have the time that is!)
Its really not hard, just time / labour intensive.

Absolutely. As a general rule you're usually better off just trying to hide the defects rather than removing them completely as you'll be eating into the structure of the paint to a degree that you might compromise the lacquer. As you've said, detailingworld is the place for all questions related but you can make a huge difference just by using alternative products for the various stages.

Good snow foam, wash, clay, poorboys blackhole (or diamond white depending on the colour of your paint) and then a wax on top. You'll hide 90% of the swirls, job done!
I've got all those products except the snow foam. But not sure about the time....
