..well actually, on here would be better!

At some point on the not-too-distant future, I will need to have my project (LS7 with Mild cam) set up and tuned/ engine tested/ emmissions tested for IVA compliance, and I know it won't be easy! ...or so I hear...

So can you Guys come up with some suggestions and options on who is a top Bloke/ Bloke-ette (not to be sexist about it!) to use for this event?

I am in the Chelt/ Worcester area, so the closer the better naturally, but overall it is quality expertise I am looking for so distance is not the most important factor...

cheers

Advanced Motorsport and engineering silverstone got my ls3 376/480 IVAd and can't come recommended enough

Also have a hub dyno dynapac used last week by the drayson electric LMP team, and used by numerous big players such as the Hennessy venom gt etc etc

Lately dan was the first to put a Gems X25 ECU on a ls V8 engine with drive-by-wire linked to a race technology dash with race logic t/c and also a custom built race spec wire harness

Based in silverstone

Pete Knight is a top engine builder. He specialises in LS engines too. I was exceptionally pleased with his work and he is a thoroughly nice chap too! Based in Daventry and has a full dyno.

I used Paul at Wortec. He is the guy that GM uk turn to tune their engines. Excellent job and made sure the fueling was safe and removed my stalling. Hp scanner shows it all good to at least 140mph! Added bonus that idle and track temp keeps to 87-89c regardless. Also helped setup my afr gauge so I can spot any problems early.

Also tunes on the public road/track rather than a rolling road which IMHO is more realistic for the car

Yes not many details on the main website! He is based at Bosham Darling Lane nearish to Portmouth but he will travel to you for the tuning, since he does not need a rolling road. I left my car with him, since I also had a wiring problem on one of the sensors. Autobionics in York use him as well. Providing you have an hp scanner and feel confident, he can resolve minor problems remotely!
