Mapping booked for this thursday.

I'm not a regular poster on the forum but I do follow it daily, and thanks to everyones info I've been able to strip my car down and give it a complete refresh. I've done all the usual things like tunnel cooling mod, floor removal and reseal, fuel system sorted, heat wrap EVERYTHING, front mount oil cooler, silicone coolant hoses etc.
I bought my 3R a few months back with a low milage mountune engine and uprated helix clutch (
hello grant if your reading this), I've since fitted a pair of cut back T28's (thanks funky) all the pro-alloy bits possible, andygtt spec stainless exhaust, and now all that's left is for trevor to do his magic! So im now quite excited and nervous about seeing the car on the rollers thursday evening, if all goes well it should be another high powered noble on the road. I'll post up some pics when it stops raining long enough for me to get the car out and take some.
Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone for their helpfull threads and advice.
Jason.

Thanks for the encouragement, ive been looking forward to this for a long time and I don't think I'll be able to sleep Wednesday night!
Yes come along im sure it's easier to watch when it's not your car on the rollers. Not sure what to expect but with a standard gearbox torque will have to be kept low.

Sounds like you'll have the same as mine, 420 bhp with about the same touque. Remember to take ear plugs, it gets very louldYes come along im sure it's easier to watch when it's not your car on the rollers. Not sure what to expect but with a standard gearbox torque will have to be kept low.
Had mine done last Thursday, still wearing a standard exhaust which hindered things due to its known restriction. Also suffered valve surge quite early in the revs so Trevor had to gag the limiter down and kill the boost. Still made 372bhp & 408lb/ft with just PA IC & an 044. It is nerve wracking but you're in good hands!

Yep taking ear plugs plus spare underwear
420 would be good and I know the car will fly but Id love a bit more, obviously I'll leave it to what Trevor feels is right. Metalman said:

420-430 is the max for the standard clutch and box. I went out for a drive with Grant and his 3R and it was a very good example. Glad to see its gone to a good home, don't break it!!
