For us the times of the races we wanted to photograph weren't brilliant, but here, ad hoc and not retouched, are some for you:-

As Said, straight out of the box and selected from thumbnails just to give a flavour, but hope they please you all.

Before you say, yes, some aren't in focus I see, but when I have time I'll put up a selection of the best ones.

Not sure if anyone was taking photos on the Parade laps but if anyone has any of a black and red Morgan 3 wheeler I'd appreciate a look, sons first run around the circuit and I'm sure he'd love a photograph.

Cheers

John.

Absolutely.

Judging by the photos, assuming they're from the same lap, that Merc is on it, big time..

A nice overtaking manouvre, the Jag was better off out of the way! hehe

Thank you all for the comments. Sorry I rushed it, but I just wanted to give you a flavour of where I was, which was the second chicane and Indianapolis. Here are a few more - chosen with a bit more care this time - and I haven't even looked at the dusk to dawn photos yet.

That guy in the black gullwing was a bit of a legend - properly grabbed it by the scruff of it's neck!

Loved watching the Merc drifting through the first corner on Sunday afternoon, really impressive stuff!

Looking at the pictures, thought that as well. Either completely missed his braking point in which case he would have ended up in a nearby village or the 2nd picture was taken a lap later!

Should have say hello from the other side of the track !
As can be seen, she was badly smoking when entering the chicane.

Here's a more flattering one....

All photos of this car at the request of CKL. I hear the pulley sheared off leaving only the centre and the bolts.

Did anyone else see this "barn find" driving up and down Arnage on Saturday night?

Straw bale seat by furtive, on Flickr

It had a straw bale for a seat, big hole in the floor, and a bit of tree supporting the HT leads. It really did look like it had been dragged out of a barn that morning.

Now that's what you call patina! Did you say DRIVING? Was the driver on drugs or just plain daft? wobble
