Having just done a lot of work on my gto3 including complete new floor,carpets,fuel pump,pro alloy ic/ header tank/oil breather/hard pipes and exhaust. I would Like to have it remapped but worried the gear box won't allow me to reach the power I would like. Should I have it out and get that done or change to a 3r instead...I quite like mine without leather though and the body work is mint.

Seeing how you have done most of the hard work, for the cost of a remap, it would seem a shame not to get it done. Assuming yours is a 5 speed, should still be good for around 400ish bhp and a cap on the torque a 6 speed around 420-430 poss 450bhp if your brave.
