What's DSG like in the snow?

2.O TDI passat wasn't amazing up hills to say the least. Autobox on the old 5 series seemed to be better up them

I suppose that depends how you handle them - set them into gear manually you'll probably be alright. Leave them in auto and they'll probably be a touch confused since they don't (iirc) have a winter mode.
